This case study highlights the journey of a post-menopausal woman who suffered from hormone-induced hair growth on her chin. After growing her unwanted hair throughout the lockdowns, she turned to our clinic for a permanent solution. Our expert team conducted a thorough assessment and tailored an electrolysis treatment plan that addressed her specific needs, and found a treatment modality and setting that was tolerated well by her mature skin. Starting in May 2021, we meticulously targeted each hair follicle over a number of sessions lasting between 15 and 45 minutes. We cleared the area month after month, adjusting the length and frequency of the appointments as required.
